PT Adaro Energy Tbk - Adaro’s history begins with the global oil shocks of the 1970s. They caused the Indonesian Government to revise its energy policy, until then focused on oil and gas, to include coal as a fuel for domestic use.
With this increased focus on coal, in 1976 the Mines Department divided East and South Kalimantan into eight coal blocks and invited tenders for these blocks.
Spanish Government company Enadimsa bid for Block 8 in the Tanjung district of South Kalimantan, as coal was known to be present in the district from outcrops mapped by Dutch geologists in the 1930s and from intersections at depth in oil wells drilled by Pertamina in the 1960s.
No other company bid for this block; at that time it was regarded as being too far inland and the coal of low quality.

Position :

1. HSE Responsive & Hydrocarbon Monitoring Supervisor

Job Responsibilities :

Identifying potentional environmental disturbance and ensure the implementation of environmental aspect management related to domestic waste, hydrocarbons and B3 according to provisions and regulations


Job Requirements :

• Bachelor Degree of Environmental/Chemical Engineering

• Minimum 3 years work experience in mining / research institutes

• Have experienced of supervising B3 

• Have experience as a water/air sampling officer

• Certified POP

• Have knowledge about K3LH


2. Emergency Preparedness & Response Supervisor


Job Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with other official in order to prepare and analyze damage assessment following emergencies.

• Coordinate disaster response or crisis management activities such as ordering evacuation and implementing special need plans and programs

• Design and administer emergency preparedness training courses that teach people how to effectively respond to major emergencies

• Maintain and update all resource material associated with emergency preparedness

• Prepare emergency situation status reports that describe response and recovery effort, needs and preliminary damage assessments


Job Requirements :

• Minimum High School with experience as emergency response team 5 years

• Bachelor degree with min. GPA 2.8 major in any diciplines with minimum experience in related field for 3 years

• Having minimum of 1 years as supervisor or senior staff in related field

• Good communication, dynamic and patient

• Strong sense of humanity

• Strong leadership and able to work on tight deadline

• Quick decision maker and fast response

• Willing to be places in Kalimantan Selatan
