PT Vale menambang nikel laterit untuk menghasilkan produk akhir berupa nikel dalam matte. Volume produksi nikel PT Vale rata-rata mencapai 75.000 metrik ton per tahunnya. Dalam memproduksi nikelnya di Blok Sorowako, PT Vale menggunakan teknologi pyrometalurgi atau teknik smelting (meleburkan bijih nikel laterit).

Posisi :
1. Junior Mine Engineer
Position Code: FMMPES
Work Location: Bungku Timur
To assist Mine Engineer for produce mine plan, production scheduling, high quality design, projects development and monitoring the progress to support the overall success of meeting the department objectives.
Accountabilities :
• Responsible in Engineering/Mine Planning activities job, include projects development and responsible in production/project scheduling to ensure the quality of work
• Ensure compliance to environmental, safety procedures, standards and policies.
• Prepare, plan and analyze the pit design, disposal design, quarterly forecast and capital design to support mine activities effectively.
• Ensure mine operation is following plans as per specifications (mine engineering drawings) to ensure the compliance of mine planning.
• Prepare the reporting and documentation, both hardcopy and electronic copy to ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare simple basic cost and present costing and economics benefits of project improvement.
• Support any users who need any data about Mine Production, and Mine Equipment Perform
• Liaise with other section and contractor to ensure to mining work is completed.
• Prepare and maintain VPS routines, weekly and monthly meeting material presentation under JV Director to ready present in performance meeting JV.
• Arrange, provide, and make sure that all office equipment’s and supplies required for JV project members are facilitate, complete, and well done.
Technical Specializations :
• Understanding of nickel laterite operations, ore profile and characteristics.
• Understand of the development of business cases, FEL studies etc.
• Understand the logic of mine plan process, mine plan sequences and project management.
• Computer software – Microsoft Office, Mine Design Software such as Vulcan or Surpac, Microsoft Project.
Requirements :
• Bachelor Degree (S1) in Mining Engineering with minimum GPA 3.0
• Minimum 18 months in Mine Planning is preferable and maximum 3 years experience
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• First Operational Supervisor Certification (Pengawas Operasional Pratama) is preferable.
• Good communication and f luent in English both written and verbal

2. Senior Legal Counsel
Position Code: DIRCLC
Work Location: Jakarta
Provide accurate and timely legal services and advices to the company, including Board of Directors, managers and staff to ensure its compliance with legal requirement related to company development projects.
Accountabilities :
• Provide accurate and timely legal services and advices, as may be required from time to time, to ensure that the company’s interests are safeguarded and legal aspects of any decisions are fully considered, particularly with regard to strategic matters related to (i) the company’s development projects in Pomalaa, Bahodopi and Sorowako, (ii) COW and (iii) implementation of the applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage negotiation, drafting and implementation of legal agreements relating to the company’s business/operations, and in particular, the company’s development projects In Pomalaa, Bahodopi and Sorowako.
• Represent and/or manage representation of the company at meetings with third parties (including with government institutions) to ensure that the company’s interests are safeguarded and legal aspects of any decisions are fully considered.
• Monitor and analyze laws and regulations developments that might affect the company and prepare reports on relevant important matters for consideration by management.
• Manage compliance of the company with regard to any obligations as required by COW as well as relevant general laws and regulations, including permitting and corporate governance matters.

• Experienced in Projects.
• Experienced and knowledgeable in mining sector.
Requirements :
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
• Professional and Certified Attorney.
• Minimum 8 years working experience in dealing with commercial law, preferably in law firms.
• Strong initiative, negotiation and team-work skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Advanced English skills.
• Able to work independently as well as a team member
