SLICKLINE OPERATOR

Slickline Operators raise and lower downhole tools (e.g., bailers, pulling tools, stems and running tools) with a wire cable which is used to test and maintain oil and gas wells. They retrieve and/or install valves, plugs and pressure regulators.

  • Applicant must have the knowledge and previous experience to perform all job duties required for Slickline operations from preparation for the job through the completion of the service
  • Train service crews to perform all Slickline operations
  • Consult with and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Able to apply technical knowledge to solve unanticipated situations
  • Knowledge of all equipment and able to maintain the equipment
  • Completes all well site pre- and post-job paperwork as required
  • Promote safety procedures and complies with all regulations
  • Must have a valid CDL license or be able to acquire one
  • Maintain all required trainings
  • Job duties will also include a wide range of other job task such as assist in the shop duties, general housekeeping and all E-Line Service duties as needed.
