Production Engineer - Artificial Lift
Petroplan is currently working with a publicly traded E&P business who are looking to add an additional Production Engineer to their operations team, this person will have responsibility for providing production engineering support while working with the team and independently to develop and provide solutions.
This position will be responsible for the optimizing production in a safe and environmentally sound manner. Working collaboratively to maximize production, looking at every wellbore through thorough review analysis and action, while controlling cost, and minimizing downtime in a safe, clean, and responsible manner. Key challenges within this role will include:
• Maximize production from every wellbore in the asset with the following artificial lift: ESP, rod lift, gas lift, and plunger
• Monitor production performance and recommend activities to maintain and increase rates for both conventional and unconventional wells
• Contribute to the expense and capital project budget preparation, and expense tracking/optimization
• Schedule, write procedure for, and coordinate day-to-day field activities (remedial well work).
You must have at least 4 years of experience, including recent experience in oil and gas operations working within a production operations field environment.
Suitable candidates will be a driven, autonomous, self-motivated safety professional who is passionate and hungry to succeed.
