Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer in UAE to support Al Dhafra Haliba project.
Successful candidate must perform below duties;
• Provide Leadership and support for all maintenance aspects of electrical equipment that includes overhead power line, electrical substations and switchgears, transformers and power distribution systems, Electrical Technical Rooms (ETRs), power provisions to ESP-equipped wells, including associated Variable Speed Drives, Emergency Diesel Generator sets, electric motors drives for multiphase pumps ...etc.)
• Develop / implement maintenance strategies for electrical equipment, including preventive maintenance and condition monitoring programs.
• Lead PM/PDM programs, maintenance benchmarking activities, and implement maintenance performance metrics to improve equipment / plant performance and reliability. Review the equipment performance history to identify improvement opportunities
• Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis and other reliability analysis for electrical equipment.
• Provide Technical input / support into engineering projects for electrical equipment from equipment selection, testing, installation, commissioning, and startup.
• Review critical spares inventory requirment for electrical equipment and systems
• Conduct reviews of new/modified/improved technologies aimed at mitigating specific equipment failure modes
• Provide technical support / assistance in resolving electrical equipment design, operation and maintenance problems, deviation from normal operation, performance optimization and de-bottlenecking, monitoring and repairs.
• Lead investigation teams to solve recurring electrical equipment issues / failures.
• Keep up-to-date with latest industry practices, standards, and technology for continuous improvement in electrical equipment and systems performance / reliability.
• Review MOCs for technical accuracy of delivery and execution.
Skills / Qualifications :
• Bachelor Degree in a Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
• 10 to 15 yeas of experience in the field of operations in the oil and gas industry with preference to upstream operations
