With our continuing activity in the Caribbean region in both cased hole and open hole services we are looking for experienced Wireline Operators to join our team.

As a Wireline Field Operator, you will be fully competent in all aspects of operator duties at the well site and at the shop, can maintain the unit and perform all pre-job duties, well-site operations and post-job duties, as well as training junior operators.
As a Wireline Field Operator, you will be responsible for:
• Following established instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on wellsite activity and performing basic duties at the wellsite and at the shop.
• Learning about servicing mechanical devices, building logging cableheads and tool maintenance.
• Completing proper job-related paperwork and other records for self and assigned crew.
• Driving company vehicles in a safe manner, observing all company and government regulations, and arriving at the wellsite or other designated destination at the scheduled time.
• Carrying out all required responsibilities safely as described in Managing Base Operations, Managing Well Operations, and Managing Equipment and Logistics manuals.
• Promoting and maintaining good customer relations.
• Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and operation of a range of wireline winches, surface equipment and downhole tools.
• Conducting all activities in line with our non-negotiables, applicable processes and cultural pillars
• Servicing of mechanical devices, building both Open Hole and Cased Hole cableheads and tool maintenance
• Managing to rig up and down wellsite equipment including pressure control equipment, wireline tools and rigger equipment
• Hoisting in different situations such as fishing operations, coring operations, testing operations and deploying tools in deviated wells and through PCE

To be successful in this role you will:
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have a sound mechanical aptitude.
• Have a proven track record for wireline service delivery and safety focus
• Have good communication skills and be a team player
• Have the skill level to work independently without much supervision
