Encouraged by the rapid development of Balikpapan and East Kalimantan, with all its mining, oil, gas, petrochemical industries and the full (technical) support by out principals (all recognized American, Europian, and Australian manufacturers), PT. Bhumi Phala Perkasa decided in 2006 to invest in brand new modern workshop and office.
The new workshop and office, has given PT. Bhumi Phala Perkasa the opportunity to increase the capacity for all its divisions supporting the oil, gas, mining, and petrochemical industries. And as of today we have eight main divisions and a wide range of products.
The divisions exist of the Cooling System Division (Fabrication, Re-engineering, Repair and refurbishment for radiators, lube oil coolers, gas coolers and heat exchangers), the Engine Division (Re-engineering, Repair, Overhaul and refurbishment of any type of engine), the Filtration Division (Advanced Filtration and Separation Applications), the Pump and Valve Division (Repair, Overhaul and refurbishment of any type of pump/valve), the Crane Division (Re-engineering, Maintenance, Inspection, Repair and Replacement for any type of crane), the Machinery Division (Fabrication, Re-engineering, Repair and refurbishment) and the two internal supporting divisions, Fabrication & Service).

1. Construction Manager
Requirement:
• Education Mechanical Engineer
• Have an experience 10 years
• Experienced in project planning, risk assessment, method statement/work pack ( eg. Fabrication, installation, testing, commissioning and start-up), quality inspection, testing, resource allocation and leveling, interface (ef. Engineering, procurement, logistic, etc) dossier development
• Familiar with applicable structural and piping standard (e.g ASME,ANSI, API,ASTM)
• Computer Literacy
• Strong leadership, communication and reporting skill, fluent in English both oral and written
• Experience handling construction in oil and Gas Project ( Oil and Gas Plant or LNG Plant)
2. Construction Engineer
Requirement:
• Education Bachelor degree as : Mechanical Engineer; Electrical/ Instrument Engineer; Civil Engineer
• Have an experience 5 years
• Experienced in project planning, risk assessment, method statement/ work pack ( eg. Fabrication, installation, testing, commissioning and start-up), quality inspection, testing, resource allocation and levelling, interface (ef. Engineering, procurement, logistic, etc) dossier development
• Familiar with applicable structural and piping standard (e.g ASME,ANSI, API,ASTM)
• Computer Literacy
• Strong leadership, communication and reporting skill, fluent in English both oral and written
• Experience handling construction in oil and Gas Project (Oil and Gas Plant or LNG Plant)
3. Piping Engineer
Requirement:
• Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Having 7 years working experience in piping Detail Engineering and working in EPC oil & gas.
• Experience in provide general plot plan, piping layout, develop Isometric drawing, and preparing piping Bill of Materials/ MTO list.
• Experience in preparing piping general specification, material specification, material requisition/ data sheet, piping support standards, and piping fabrication drawing.
• Understand about piping materials, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, boilers, vendor supplied skid assemblies, steam turbine drivers, and other machinery & equipment’s.
• Able to operate AutoCAD, piping engineering software i.e: pipe stress analysis Caesar 2, PDMS or Auto pipe.
• Experience with piping construction.
• Experience of working in Gas Plant or LNG
4. Mechanical Supervisor
Requirement:
• Education minimal D3
• Have an experience 5 years
• Familiar with ASME, ANSI, API and ASTM Codes
• Proficient in P&IDS, piping plan, piping isometric, vessel\reactor\general arrangements and details
• Experience in bolting both torqueing and tensioning, flange face machining, welding, fabrication, assembly, alignment, installation, testing, commissioning, reinstatement (e.g piping, vessel, reactor), piping, fitting, valve
• Proficient in hydrotesting, pneumatic pressure testing and leak testing
• Experience of working in Gas Plant or LNG
5. Mechanical Fitter
Requirement:
• Education Minimal High School
• Have an experience 5 years
• Familiar with ASME, ANSI, API and ASTM Codes
• Proficient in P&IDS, piping plan, piping isometric, vessel\reactor\general arrangements and details
• Experience in bolting both torqueing and tensioning, flange face machining, welding, fabrication, assembly, alignment, installation, testing, commissioning reinstatement (e.g piping, vessel, reactor), piping, fitting, valve
• Proficient in hydrotesting, pneumatic pressure testing and leak testing
• Experience of working in Gas Plant or LNG
6. Piping and Structural Steel Welder
Requirement:
• Education : High School
• Have an experience 5 years
• Familiar with ASME, ANSI, API and ASTM Codes (GTAW/ SMAW/ SS)
• Proficient in P&IDS, piping plan, piping isometric, vessel/ reactor/ general arrangements and details, structural steel shop drawing readings
• Certified as Welder by MIGAS
• Experience of working in Gas Plant or LNG
7. Electrical or Instrumentation Supervisor
Requirement:
• Education minimal D3
• Have an experience 5 years
• AK3 certified by Kelistrikan by Kemnaker (electrical supervisor)
• K3 certified by Kelistrikan by Kemnaker (electrical technician)
• Certified as MV\HV “splicer” by splicing kit manufacturing (electrical technician)
• Certified as tubing installer by Swagelok ( instrument technician)
• Proficient in P&IDs, single line diagrams, IO loop diagrams
• Experienced in electrical instrumentation equipment assembly, installation and testing, cable pulling, termination, testing, loop check, tubing pulling and termination, control\pressure relief valve assembly, disassembly, installation, testing
• Experience of working in Gas Plant or LNG
8. Electrical or Instrumentation Technician
Requirement:
• Education minimal High School
• Have an experience 5 years
• AK3 certified by Kelistrikan by Kemnaker (electrical supervisor)
• K3 certified by Kelistrikan by Kemnaker (electrical technician)
• Certified as MV\HV “splicer” by splicing kit manufacturing (electrical technician)
• Certified as tubing installer by Swagelok ( instrument technician)

9. HSE Officer
Requirement:
• Education : D3
• Have an experience 5 years
• Certified as AK3 Migas
• Proficient in risk assessment methodology , accident\incident investigation, behavior conditioning, auditing, OSHA standard, HSE Plan, conformance document, self-verification
• Computer Literacy
• Strong leadership, communication and reporting skill, fluent in English both oral and written.
10. Sandblasting and Coating Technician
Requirement:
• Education : High School
• Have an experience 5 years
• Experienced in sandblasting work
• Experienced in conventional painting spray and air-less spray
• BNSP Certified (Painting)
11. Coating Supervisor with RAT Certified
Requirement:
• D3
• Have an experience 5 years
• Certified as RAT level III by IRATA (supervisor)
• Certified as RAT level I or II by IRATA (supervisor)
• Experienced in risk assessment, conventional painting spray and air-less spray
• BNSP certified (painting)
12. Coating Technician with RAT Certified
Requirement:
• High School
• Have an experience 5 years
• Certified as RAT level III by IRATA (supervisor)
• Certified as RAT level I or II by IRATA (supervisor)
• Experienced in risk assessment, conventional painting spray and air-less spray
• BNSP certified (painting)
13. Rigging Supervisor
Requirement:
• D3
• Have an experience 5 years
• Experienced in various rigging tools\equipment usage, lifting plan implementation, lifting risk assessment
• Certified as Rigger by DEPNAKER or MIGAS
• Certified as OPITO level-3 rigger slinger or ECITB level-3 moving loads\technical services or EAL certificate of competency level 2 A+B
14. Rigger
Requurement:
• High School
• Have an experience 5 years
• Experienced in various rigging tools/equipment usage, lifting plan implementation, lifting risk assessment
• Certified as Rigger by DEPNAKER or MIGAS
• Certified as OPITO level-3 rigger slinger or ECITB level-3 moving loads/technical services or EAL certificate of competency level 2 A+B
15. Signalman/ Banksman
Requirement:
• High School
• Have an experience 5 years
• Experienced in lifting operation (e.g risk assessment, lifting equipment check, load movement and verification, hand signaling, exclusive zone establishment)
• Certified as Banksman by Depanaker or MIGAS
• Certified as OPITO level-3 banksman slinger or ECITB level-3 moving load\technical services or EAL certificate of competency level 2 A+B
16. Material Coordinator
Requirement:
• High School
• Have an experience 5 years
• Experienced in material packaging, shipping, receiving, movement, control, verification, documentation, storage\handling, certificates and reconciliation
• Familiar with material commodity specification particularly on civil, piping, electrical, instrumentation
• Computer literacy
17. Warehouseman
Requirement:
• High School
• Have an experience 5 years
• Experienced in material packaging, shipping, receiving, movement, control, verification, documentation, storage\handling, certificates and reconciliation
• Familiar with material commodity specification particularly on civil, piping, electrical, instrumentation
