Forklift and Crane Operator
Responsibilities
We are looking for a new Forklift and Crane Operator to join our Weatherford team in Baku, Azerbaijan. This is an onshore position and we are looking for a person that has experience in operating forklifts and cranes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Operate a variety of equipment daily to move materials according to the schedule and instruction from Supervisor.
• Follow the detailed instructions of crane/forklift manual and Company work procedures.
• Visually inspect the crane/forklift daily plus perform and complete crane/forklift checklist on weekly basis.
• Operate the crane/foklift in designated area or put the warning signs on movement or operation of the crane.
• Ensure the equipment is secured prior lifting or moving.
• Know the weight of equipment being lifted.
• Carry out basic repairs to machines.
• Follow instructions from supervisors on site.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous experience as a forklift and crane operator
• Valid driving licence
• Basic technical skills - mechanic/electrician etc
• Nationally recognized forklift and crane training certificate
• Ability to effectively and safely drive and use forklift, crane & related components
• Azerbajiani language is required, English is not mandatory but a basic understanding will be recommended
• Good team player and a responsible attitude towards work environment
• Worked in hostile outside environments & difficult terrains - advantage
