Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently seeking Onshore/Offshore Welders preferably with a background in the oil and gas (or mining) industry - for Victorian Shutdowns in 2023.
We have pre-shutdown work commencing in February, a Shutdown at the Otway Gas Plant in March followed by a shutdown at Bass Gas (Lang Lang) in April.
At this time we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place.
Skills / Qualifications
• Previous Shutdown experience is an advantage
• You will have proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environments
• Pipe welding - Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Chromoly, MMAW, GTAW, FCAW experience required.
A pre-employment medical will be required before commencement.
