The Artificial Lift Field Specialist is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable Product and service delivery. The AL Field Specialist is responsible for Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) installation, start-up, and troubleshooting. He / She identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for installation, start-up, and troubleshooting of ESP.

• Implement new and ongoing field processes.

• Ability to follow standard work instructions and checklists to ensure efficient and correct completion of tasks.

• Self-motivated to stay informed about new and changing technology and procedures.

• Monitor operation of the ESP.

• Interface with client and rig crew on location.

• Participate in the Field Service team to share knowledge and experience.

• Apply lessons learned about safety and installation processes.

• Complete detailed paperwork on wellsite to document onsite activities and equipment.


Experience and Competencies

• College Diploma or Associate Degree (Electrical / Mechanical), equivalent experience including military experience will be considered.

• Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record

• Previous oilfield experience is desirable

• Previous experience installing and trouble shooting ESP pumps is a plus

• Electrically and mechanically inclined

• Excellent communication both verbal and written

• Good computer skills.

• Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship
