Zallaf is an exploration and production oil and gas entity founded in 2013. Zallaf was given permission by the National Oil Corporation (NOC) that led to its establishment in 2017. It is a 100% subsidiary company of the NOC to develop fields that have been discovered and appraised but not yet produced, increase oil and gas production.

1. ESP FIELD ENGINEER

Job Description:

ESP field Engineer will report to Senior ESP supervisor, oversee all activities and tasks related to ESP pump and back-up Senior ESP supervisor during his absence

Experience Field:

5+ years direct experience with ESP technology and variable speed drive systems, previous experience in Y-Tool Systems is a plus.

Job Requirements:

• BSc in petroleum, Mechanical or electrical engineering

• 5+ years direct experience with ESP technology and variable speed drive systems, previous experience in Y-Tool Systems is a plus.

• Must be flexible to work on rotational basis

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Installing, running of ESP Equipment including inspecting, modifying and repair of pumps, motors, cables, and relevant down hole equipment,

• Monitoring, troubleshoots and testing downhole ESP equipment including Downhole Tools to maximize well productivity and ESP.

• Installing, operation and maintenance of Y-tool and VSD system.

• Completing and communicating all required reports to Tripoli Main Office ) Development and Production De: (start-up and commissioning reports, daily monitoring reports )

• Work with ESP senior supervisor to get stable well performance and reliable wells data

• Communicate and update daily ESP activities to Tripoli main office

• Providing required technical support for ESP technicians & junior engineers.

• Review and validate ESP commissioning recommendations and commissioning follow up.

• Monitor and trouble shoot ESP artificial lift performance and maintain historical records.

• Trouble shoot failures in surface equipment related to artificial lift application: SB, VSD, soft starter, step up transformer.

• Maintain spare parts records for all the Surface & Downhole as per the requirement.

• Maintain updated record of VSD parameters for all ESP’s Drives, review and test the ESP’s safety parameters and remote data collection.

• Ensuring the availability of adequate inventory to meet the scheduled ESP installations & Work over activities.

• Following up and adhere to all safety precautions and requirements.



2. ESP FIELD SUPERVISOR

Job Description:

Senior ESP Engineer will oversee well site operation, contribute to ESP procurement, develop the technical documents of ESP, monitor, and provide continuous support to junior field technicians.

10 or more

Experience Field:

10+ years of industry experience in ESP technology plus relevant experience in aspects of petroleum engineering

Job Requirements:

• BSc in petroleum, Mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.

• 10+ years of industry experience in ESP technology plus relevant experience in aspects of petroleum engineering.

• Extensive knowledge and skills in MS Office, notably Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Have previous experience in Y-Tool Systems.

• Must be flexible to work on rotational basis.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Installing, running of ESP Equipment including inspecting, modifying and repair of pumps, motors, cables, and relevant down hole equipment at Contractor’s base,

• Supervising installation/pulling of Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) systems and associated equipment in onshore oil and water wells

• Monitoring, troubleshoots and tests downhole ESP equipment including Downhole Tools to maximize productivity and ESP.

• Supervising Installing, operation and maintenance of Y-tool and VSD system.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures compliance with company’s policies and standards.

• Identifies high risk situations, document them, and adopts risk mitigation approach.

• Troubleshoot ESP performance, in liaison with field personnel, recommend remedial actions and follow up on actions taken.

• Periodically QC and audit the ESP optimization process from data gathering through record-keeping, validate all optimization recommendations and follow up on post optimization monitoring.

• Manage and update ESP documents and procedures.

• Prepare the Weekly ESP Summary Report, Weekly ESP Dashboard, Monthly ESP Dashboard in a timely manner and professional format

• Manage and complete various Field ESP Team projects assigned.

• Identify and implement initiatives and technologies to improve ESP run life.

• Develop the capabilities of local national staff through formal and informal training / mentoring.

• Review and validate ESP commissioning recommendations and commissioning follow up.

• Daily review on DOF the status of ESP wells and alert Tripoli Office for wells offline and wells that require troubleshooting.

• Monitor and trouble shoot ESP artificial lift performance and maintain historical records.

• Trouble shoot failures in surface equipment related to artificial lift application: SB, VSD, soft starter, step up transformer.

• Maintain spare parts records for all the Surface & Downhole as per the requirement.

• Maintain updated record of VSD parameters for all ESP’s Drives, review and test the ESP’s safety parameters and remote data collection.

• Evaluate the performance of artificial lift systems (ESPs) and recommend improvements as necessary.

• Prepare detailed job programs and supervise jobs in the field.

• Demonstrate technical leadership within the operations department and the ESP team.

• Monitor and quality check (QC) the overall ESP well performance optimization process to enhance production and increase ESP run life.

• Manage and communicate with vendors involved during Installation operation.

• Interface between PE and operation/ projects/electrical/instrument team during start-up/troubleshooting/upgradation activities.
