Tambang di kawasan mineral Grasberg, Papua - Indonesia merupakan salah satu deposit tembaga dan emas terbesar di dunia. Kami saat ini menambang pada fase akhir tambang terbuka Grasberg. Kami tengah mengerjakan beberapa proyek pada kawasan mineral Grasberg sehubungan dengan pengembangan beberapa tambang bawah tanah berkadar tinggi yang berskala besar dan berumur panjang. About the job Smelter Operation Readiness - Supervisor HS System & Compliance & Data Analysis

The purpose of this position

Developing socializing, implementing & evaluating Health & Safety (HS) Management systems, compliances & reporting system according to Freeport-McMoRan (FCX)/PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) Policy & Standards and Statutory Government Regulation in Manyar Smelter & Manyar Maju Refinery Plant.


The key duties and responsibilities of this position:

• Implementing & evaluating HS Policy, Objective Target & Program (OTP), Standard Operation Procedure, Technical Standard, and others related documentations in accordance with FCX/PTFI Policy and statutory regulation.

• Identifying and managing HS Compliance and Permit according to FCX/PTFI Policy and statutory government regulation/others legal requirements

• Conducting Compliance Reporting to stakeholders (Internal Purpose/management, Corporate and Government), validate and ensure its accuracy and timely reporting.

• Developing, implementing, and evaluating HS Management Systems according to FXC/PTFI Standard, International Standard and government regulation, i.e.: ISO 45001, SMKP, SMK3, etc.

• Conducting audit program to the evaluate implementation of HS Management system according to FCX/PTFI Policy and statutory regulation.

• Performing Data Analysis to all HS data and provide statistical information in form of HS Leading & Lagging Indicator and other requirements to management and related stakeholders.

• Implementing and evaluating Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS) based on FCX/PTFI policy and statutory regulation.

• Assisting company to perform Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment and implement Fatal Risk Management (FRM) to all PTFI Personnel & Contractors according to FCX/PTFI Policy and statutory regulation.

• Implementing and evaluate Safety Accountability Program according to FCX/PTFI Policy and statutory regulation.

• Conducting HS Program and Campaign to build the Maturity of HS Culture in Company.


The key challenges in this position:

• Ensuring Compliance with Regulations: There are numerous government regulations that govern Health & Safety management in Indonesia that come from difference Ministry, such as Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources, Ministry of Health and other related Ministry. As a supervisor, you need to ensure your understanding and keeping up to date to all regulations, including appropriate International Standard and implementing compliances against all of those requirements.

• Coordinate with all stakeholder: A good communiation ways to connect is a must to deal with Internal departments in each work shift and its can be challenging due to their respectively interests and needs.

• Hazardous Environment: Smelting & Refinery operations can be dangerous, the health & safety operation supervisor must be aware of and follow strict safety protocols when visiting and working in these environments, using specialized protective gear to ensure personal safety.

• High Pressure Environment: Smelting & Refinery operations are often high-pressure environments where downtime can result in significant financial losses, and as supervisor, you may need to deal with high-pressure situations where time is of the essence. You need to be able to make quick decisions and take appropriate actions to resolve issues promptly.

• Complex Processing Plant: MS MMR is single line processing system with various specific hazards of Potential Fatal Incidents in each plants with wide area of supervisory. This can be challengging to adapt and learn all proccess since the double flash smelter is newest technology in Indonesia.


The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

Minimum Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's in a Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, or other related discipline

• 5+ years experience in Health & Safety related experience in mining, mineral/metal processing especially in managing Health & Safety System & Compliance


Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Characters)

• Have a valid Frontline Operational Supervisor (POP) - BNSP certification.

• Have a valid Occupational Health & Safety Expert (AK3U) - BNSP or DISNAKER certification

• Have a valid ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor Certified

• Have a valid SMK3 Auditor Certified - BNSP or DISNAKER certification

• Have a Mining Safety Management System (SMKP) Auditor - MINERBA Registered

• Have a Train of Trainer Level 3 - BNSP or DISNAKER certification is desirable

• Have experience in managing health & safety system & compliance of the following field company are desirable:

• Bulk materials handling (belt conveying, pneumatic conveying, milling)

• Pyrometallurgy (copper, other base metals)

• Hydrometallurgy (electrolytic refining or similar)

• Hydrometallurgy (Chemical processing, Solvent Extraction, leaching, pressure leaching, autoclave, redox reactions, precipitation)

• Gas Cleaning Circuit (Electrostatic Precipitators, scrubbers, etc.)

• Effluent Treatment

• Sulfuric Acid Plant

• SAG mill, Ball mill, Flotation

• Solid/Liquid Separation

• Mining (Washing Plant)

• Have a strong understanding regarding health & safety regulation and standard based on Indonesian Statutory Regulation and International standards (ISO, SNI, OSHA, etc.)

• Have a good public speaking capability.

• Good English-speaking skills orally and written

• Have a strong leadership and supervisory skills.

• Willingness to work in team environment with culturally diversified workforces.

• Additional desirable technical skills:

• Experienced in risk-based analysis (HAZOP, FMEA, RCA, Bowtie Analysis, etc.)

• Working knowledge of MS Office suites,

• Graphic Designer skills (Corel Draw, Canva, etc.)

• Advanced data analytics (Python, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, etc.)

2. Planner, CuCL Mechanical

Prepare, review, analyze, and control mill/ore flow maintenance planning system, to ensure the achievement of availability, less cost, minimize down time and production target of mill/ore flow systems.


The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

• Prepare and coordinate ore flow (Crusher, Conveyor, Feeder, Mill, Screen, Pump, Flotation, Cyclone, Thickener) mechanical maintenance planning system to be implement by maintenance group for preventive maintenance, repair or replace equipment at Mine Surface, Underground and Mill, to maximize availability of the ore flow equipment.

• Review and analyze operation maintenance request/equipment performance checklist from ore flow operator, to minimize down time of the mill/ore flow equipment.

• Prepare, coordinate and setup daily, weekly, monthly and yearly preventive maintenance scheduling and work order to mill/ore flow maintenance to maximize availability of the mill/ore flow equipment.

• Update, maintain and monitor backlog item at computer system, to follow up the outstanding work order and setup new schedule.

• Review and follow up work order from superior, to ensure the order is completed in a timely manner and accurately.

• Prepare and monitor application part list (APL), spare part, replace equipment and manpower of ore flow maintenance activity, to ensure the spare part, replace equipment and manpower is available for preventive maintenance and repair activity.

• Prepare and coordinate oil and lubricant replacement of mill/ore flow equipment, to maximize availability of the mill/ore flow equipment.

• Prepare, monitor and create purchase order of mill/ore flow spare part at warehouse, to maximize availability of the spare part for equipment repair and preventive maintenance activity.

• Perform field observation of mill/ore flow equipment performance, to maximize correct decision of the maintenance planning.

• Perform trouble shooting in supporting maintenance group to find solution to solve problem.

• Prepare and review cost allocation, to ensure the cost is within budget and proper allocation.

• Monitor and record daily tonnage per equipment and equipment history, to ensure the daily tonnage per equipment and equipment history is recorded in timely manner and accurately.

• Setup, monitor and coordinate meeting with maintenance, operation and planner, to arrange next schedule of the maintenance activity.

• Prepare bi-weekly report to superior and related department, to ensure the report is completed in a timely manner and accurately.

• Develop, coach and motivate subordinate's to enhance skill, knowledge and capability.

• Guide, monitor and control the implementation of safety standards and procedures within work area.


The key challenges in this position include:

• Coordinate with other department in order of set up preventive maintenance or down day maintenance schedule, to find a good solution to arrange the schedule.

• Knowledge of ore flow equipment and MIM's database application systems, to maximize performance of maintenance planning activity.


The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

Minimum Education and Experience

• Academy Degree (D3) with 5 years' experience in ore flow maintenance planning, or

• University Degree (S1) with 2 years' experience in ore flow maintenance planning.

Plan, monitor, and control over all aspects of electrical maintenance activities within the responsible areas to ensure maximum availability and reliability with minimum cost in order to provide efficient and effective maintenance service or world class maintenance service in terms of SAFETY, productivity, economically and to achieve the objective targets set by PT Freeport Indonesia.


The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

• Delegate work, set priorities and clarify roles of subordinate to achieve maintenance goals as set in form of agreement between the client and assigned areas electrical sections in order to achieve target production set by Company.

• Plan and coordinate shift schedules as well as update next shift crew on the current situation, in order to ensure all outstanding work orders can be completed properly.

• Coordinate with assigned areas maintenance team involving mechanic, operation and instrumentation in order to obtain efficient and effective maintenance activities in case of troubleshooting or down time.

• Motivate subordinates to participate in necessary training programs to improve and promote their skill and knowledge, which will result in a better skilled team of maintenance personal with more positive and useful contribution for the smooth progress of the maintenance activities.

• Direct, monitor and review subordinate's performance and assist them during their activities to minimize possibilities of rework and to ensure compliance with time and quality standards required by the client and the Company.

• Provide weekly/monthly reports to the superior to inform one-week maintenance activities and organize data base management to ensure historical data is available for future maintenance development.

• Communicate, organize and control the implementation of Company's Safety and environmental policies and procedures, in order to ensure subordinate perform their duties in a safe manner and environmentally conscious.

• Supervise, monitor, control and evaluate all electrical equipment within the responsible area to ensure they meet the availability target and unscheduled down time is reduced.

• Coordinate with Planner and Superintendent to develop annual operation budget, in order to provide support equipment maintenance monthly activities guidance in achieving its goal to Company's policies and procedures, and also monitor costs weekly to minimize operating costs without scarifying equipment performance.

• Monitor spare parts and component conditions, in order to determine whether the spare parts and components are still reliable or should be replaced as an effort to extend the spare part and component utilization period.

• Identify and analyze break down and how to repair broken equipment, in order to ensure to root causes of the problem is fixed appropriately, timely, effectively and efficiently.

• Perform final checks on repaired or maintained equipment, in order to ensure equipment is reliable for the operation.

• Perform human resources related functions, including counseling, warning, overtime and leave schedule in order to ensure the implementation of Company's human resources policies and procedures within areas of Electrical Maintenance.

• Monitor, control and implement NOSA Program in accordance with established standards.


The key challenges in this position include:

• In order to gain necessary support from operation and other maintenances, the incumbent should be able to communicate with them by encourage to follow SOP (Standard Operating Procedure, JSA (Job SAFETY Analysis) in order to achieve equipment availability and unscheduled down time is minimized.

• In order to keep up with production activity in reaction to areas electrical maintenance activities, the incumbent should be ready 24 hours 7 days a week and take immediate action if the problems arise that needs direct supervision.


The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

• S1 Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering with at least 2 to 5 years working experience preferably experience in control system, industrial electrical of power engineering in mining/milling industries.
