FIELD OPERATOR III - WIRELINE
Responsibilities
Has the responsibility of operating equipment and/or machinery. Duties may include some technical elements, but are primarily focused on the operation of equipment/machinery/systems. The role is practical and directly manipulates the equipment, machinery or system; that require precise instrumentation/operation. Serves in field operations as an effective member of a field team, supporting delivery under the supervision of a field engineer or field specialist.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Prepare accurate tickets, work reports, time sheets, and other administrative forms as needed.
• Assist in job safety analysis, job coordination and job installation with WFT supervisor and client on site.
• Verify that all necessary equipment and supplies are in place and in proper working order.
• Perform all functions of a SES II service technician.
• Learn about the routine operation and maintenance requirements for all Robust Expandable Utility Equipment.
• Learn about maintenance procedures for Robust Expandable Service Equipment.
• Independently operate and perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs of robust expandable service equipment.
• Attend the pre-job safety meeting.
• Available 24 hours a day to respond to customer needs.
• Know and understand Weatherford's Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Technical and Operating Procedures, and Workplace Instructions.
• You must understand and comply with all Weatherford company policies and safety rules.
• Work assignments performed to the highest level of quality.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by the supervisor within the physical limitations of the job.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Wireline, of which 1 or 2 must be in the marine area, verifiable with field reports.
• Experience in handling pressure control equipment.
• Shooting experience.
• Experience in handling mast crane and heavy units.
• Preferably crane certification, federal license and sea book.
• High school diploma, skilled labor certificate, or equivalent.
• Strong equipment maintenance and operating knowledge Valid Commercial Driver's License or the ability to obtain one. Valid hazardous materials endorsement or the ability to obtain one.
• Valid tanker endorsement or the possibility of obtaining one.
• Comply with region-specific driving rules and health requirements. (US Region: DOT)
• Flexible work hours, including long or irregular hours. You must have a phone and the ability to be available 24 hours a day.
