At Eni , we are looking for A ENGINEER n Artificial Lift Engineer (shift c) within ZFOD in Zubair Field, Iraq. You will be responsible for coordinating and reviewing artificial lift operations, within defined completion programs and budget, to meet the designed production target, pursuing the best results in terms of safety, time and cost effectiveness. Following up day by day troubleshooting activities in Zubair field, in direct contact with ESP providers' troubleshooting team.
As a member of the operations division at ZFOD you will be responsible for :
• Coordinate the activities of company and contractors involved in artificial lift operations and provide support to Artificial Lift Section Head to manage day by day operations in both rig-site (ESP installation/retrieving) and Zubair field for daily troubleshooting
• Prepares artificial lift programs including all information as specified in company procedure.
• Follows up on artificial lift Operations and Expenditure
• Provides for the preparation of annual artificial lift program review in accordance with the drilling and workover schedules
• Tracks & benchmarks artificial lift performance & costs
• Carries out special studies & reports on any aspects of artificial lift operations as required.
• Evaluates the need for services equipment and material related to artificial lift and to providing for the issuing of their request
• Allocates the artificial lift team resources, prioritizes team projects, and maintains high technical integrity and standard of the business solutions
• Support for the management of the continuous artificial lift project life cycle improvement
• Support for the preparation of project budgets, tenders and contracts related to artificial lift technologies and department's activities
• Artificial lift operations technology knowledge acquisition and capitalization
• Real time monitoring of ESP systems trends to detect any potential underperformance and optimization
• Prosper modelling and well test data matching
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements
• Engineering or science degree
• Oil & Gas with artificial lift experience
Certifications in artificial lift may be required
• Specialized training in artificial lift technology and HSE
• Good knowledge of English
• Drilling Activities: Horizontal Drilling, Drilling Fluids & Cement & Cement Operations Design, Well drilling experience
• High Profile Drilling: Extended Reach Drilling, Hp/Ht Drilling, Wellbore Stability/Sand
• Production/Prediction & Control
• Artificial Lift technologies (ESP, Sucker Rod Pumps, Gas Lift, PCP...)
• Well performance modelling and optimization with main well performance software (e.g. Prosper)
• Knowledge of Budget and tendering workflows
• Data management and computer literacy
