1. Wireline Mechanic


Objective:

The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining equipment in proper working order. This will involve conducting repairs in both the shop and field.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Inspect equipment, structures, materials, etc. to identify the cause of problems or failures

· Drive vehicles or mechanized equipment to and from location and operating it to complete jobs as necessary

· Minimize equipment downtime by conducting routine maintenance as well as preventative maintenance measures to avoid failures

· Perform routine maintenance functions on assigned fleet of equipment

· Conduct other maintenance repairs or duties as assigned by supervisor

· Maintains assigned wireline unit, tools, equipment and facilities in a neat, working condition

· Frequently update supervisor on status of wireline fleet

· Update and maintain all required repair logs in a timely manner

· Observes safety and security rules and procedures and immediately reports potentially unsafe conditions. Utilizes Stop Work Authority when necessary.

· Maintain the highest possible safety standards at all times and uphold company, customer, and industry HSE policies


Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

• Current Class A CDL with Hazmat and Airbrake Endorsements

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the demonstrated ability to maintain and repair Wireline or similar equipment

• Experience in an applicable mechanical position required

• Organized with troubleshooting/problem solving skills

• The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations in all weather conditions

• Ability to successfully pass required drug and alcohol screening and background checks

• Ability to meet physical demands of the job including lifting 50 lbs. or more unassisted


2. Wireline Operator


Objective:

A wireline operator is responsible for applying the appropriate procedures for the operation of wireline equipment, tools, and techniques in order to ensure quality and cost effective services to each customer. 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assists in load-out and pre-job checks for jobs as directed

• Complete required paperwork, to include driver logs

• Assists in preparation of documentation for DOT and maintenance of fleet vehicles

• Assists in rigging up and rigging down of wireline equipment for well site operations

• Assists in the preparation of the wireline unit and calibration of equipment

• Assists in the assemblies of perforating guns and rebuilding of related assets in various field and shop locations

• Performs meter checks on perforating guns prior to use in field

• Guides surface tools during wireline operations as instructed

• Performs operational tasks in elevated platforms, man baskets and crane as directed

• Assists in troubleshooting of tools and equipment as directed by supervisor

• Maintains assigned wireline unit, tools, equipment and facilities in a neat, workable condition

• Assist in post-job equipment management, including cleaning, re-stocking and making 100% ready for service

• Immediately reports damaged, inoperable, unsafe and inadequate tools, equipment, fleet or materials to supervisor

• Immediately reports any and all malfunctions to supervisor

• Report all injuries to supervisor, regardless of severity, as soon as practical

• Turn in all required paperwork timely, as directed by management

• Maintain all required certifications and notify management 90 days prior to certification expiration

• Observes safety and security rules and procedures and immediately reports potentially unsafe conditions.  Utilizes Stop Work Authority when necessary

• Is available to perform duties on short notice, day or night, while on call

• Operate all company vehicles in Nine fleet

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor


Experience:

• Strong mechanical aptitude, with ability to use the tools related to the role

• Customer service skills - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 

• Current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat and Airbrake Endorsement; or ability to attain a Class A CDL with specified endorsements within 120 days of employment

• Organized with troubleshooting and problem solving skills

• Process oriented and highly motivated with a positive attitude

• Basic math skills required to successfully accomplish the job

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions


3. Coil Operator


Objective:

The Coiled Tubing Operator works with the operation of Coiled Tubing equipment including rig-up and rig-down, performing maintenance, maintaining, and submitting drivers’ logs and timesheets in a timely fashion and making sure required safety and operational procedures are followed.

 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Always observe company safety rules, including keeping workspaces and vehicles clean and free of safety hazards and utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Promote and participate in all required safety, compliance, and certifications programs

• Maintain all required logbooks and inspection reports

• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections. Fuel and service units as needed. Clean, repair and prepare equipment for future jobs

• Maintain assigned equipment and perform daily inspections to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements. Report all operational deficiencies to supervisor and maintenance personnel

• Operate equipment without supervision in accordance with company policies and procedures

• Monitor well control parameters and calculations before and during job operations.

• Practice and promote safe driving procedures when travelling to and from locations in accordance with company policies and procedures

• Perform rig-up and rig-down procedures


Experience:

• Class A CDL; Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain

• 3-5 years’ relevant work experience preferred

• Ability to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical, drug screen and Motor Vehicle (MVR) screen in accordance with DOT regulations


4. Completion Tool Specialist


Objective:

The Completion Tool Specialist will provide technical assistance, repairs and services of downhole completion products and equipment, and verify that products delivered perform properly and meet customer expectations.  


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customer management team to develop a plan for each well location as well as serving as a resource to customer employees and other on-site service companies to accomplish customer objectives

• Available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to customer requests

• Travel required to respond to customer requests

• Prepare accurate job reports and other administrative documentation regarding customer service provided, including but not limited to recommendations made to customers pertaining to general operations of products delivered and field site locations

• Conduct job safety analysis regarding service provided to customers

• Manage plug inventory and communicate inventory needs to ensure sufficient supply is available

• Oversee and assist, if necessary, in installing, using and/or removing equipment in accordance with applicable technical procedures

• Assist with customer analysis of equipment performance, troubleshooting and directing repair of equipment

• Maintain the highest possible safety standards at all times and uphold company, customer, and industry HSE policies


Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Minimum 1 year of completions experience with an emphasis in equipment troubleshooting, repair and maintenance

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations in all weather conditions

• Ability to successfully pass required drug and alcohol screening and background checks

• Ability to meet physical demands of the job including lifting 50 lbs. or more unassisted


5. Electronic Technician


Objective:

The Electronics Technician performs all maintenance on equipment, learns documentation and computer processes, and provides guidance to less tenured electronic technicians. Skills are typically acquired by completion of the competency requirements and on the job experience.


Essential & Duties Responsibilities:

    Perform and complete all essential functions required of Electronics Technicians

    Knowledge of all related tools and software

    Able to use engine/transmission diagnostic software

    Able to troubleshoot complex hydraulic and pneumatic problems

    Able to troubleshoot complex control systems

    Able to troubleshoot complex engine/transmission electronics

    Able to tune and edit control software settings

    Performs installations and upgrades

    Knowledge of SAP to create and update work orders

    Inspect and approve completed repairs

    Actively participates in safety meetings to identify and address risks and hazards

    Utilizes competency processes to enhance job performance

    Perform other tasks and duties as assigned


Experience:

    Ability to read, write and speak English to the extent that they are able to understand verbal and written instructions as well as give verbal and written instructions in English

    Ability to use simple mathematical calculations

    Skills required for this position are typically acquired through completion of on-the-job training as an entry level Electronics Technician

    Must possess a vast knowledge of sensors used in oilfield electronics

    Performs work on his/her own as well as provides assistance to other employees as directed

    Requires maintained eligibility to drive company vehicles

    Must participate in all company provided training

    Perform all duties in compliance with Customer and Company policies and procedures and applicable regulations

    Ability to successfully pass required drug and alcohol screening and background check

    Ability to meet physical demands of the job including lifting 50 lbs. or more on occasion and working outside in variable weather conditions
