1. Operator Wireline


Position Objective:

The WL Operator is responsible for delivering safe, efficient and reliable PSD to customers. The operator identifies opportunities to improve service delivery and assists field and maintenance teams in preparing equipment for operations.


Responsibilities:

• Install and remove specialized tools and equipment in the well using wireline cable.

• Conduct a variety of wellbore tests and measurements to gather crucial data on the geological formation and wellbore conditions.

• Ensure that equipment is in good working order and perform any necessary maintenance to ensure its operability.

• Ensure work deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.

• Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.

• Prepare equipment for setup and teardown times.


Requirements:

• Studies: Technician in oil well operations or similar.

• Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in Wireline operations in oil wells. Ability to deploy and operate specialized tools in oil wells. Knowledge of well testing and measurement, equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance. Installation, removal of specialized tools and equipment in the well using wireline cable. These tools may include pressure sensors, data logging equipment, gas traps, among others.

• Basic English.

• Management of Ofimacas tools.

• Availability to work throughout Colombian territory.


2. Operator

The Operator is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. The Operator identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, and assists field and maintenance crews with preparing equipment for operations.

• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.

• Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.

• Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.

• Ensure individual and crew work safety.

• Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.

• Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement.

• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.

• Maintain the required safety training.

• Strong written and oral English communication skills

• High School Diploma, GED or regional equivalent

• Clean motor vehicle record as per local requirement

• Ability to work non-office hours and weekends as necessary

• Ability to record data and demonstrate good record-keeping skills

• Ability to perform duties according to on call schedule

• Ability to use basic hand tools

• Ability to travel internationally

• Ability to use a computer for accessing and sending e-mail, opening and revising documents, accessing internet and web-based Gyrodata, Inc. systems, including SharePoint, Agresso and ability to use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint


Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver's license

• Previous experience in wireline and/or oilfield services industry


3. Wireline Equipment Operator

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum high school diploma.

• Local candidates preferred.

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a skilled operator in open hole and cased hole.

• Wireline experience required.

• Diesel mechanics and electronics experience a plus.

Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the United States without visa sponsorship
