ESP Engineer
Reports to: Production Engineering Manager
Job Purpose: ESP installations, monitoring and troubleshooting offshore.
Responsibilities and Key Objectives:
• Daily Monitoring of ESP parameters and issuing daily, weekly and monthly ES Psurveillance reports.
• Routine ESP operation (start-up, shutdown and control variable changes) according tostandardized procedures.
• Making tailored recommendations for best ESP equipment and operational practices.
• Troubleshooting of ESP system to reduce deferment.
• Routine maintenance on ESP system.
• Night coverage on the WFB.
• ESP installation and commissioning for new wells or workovers.
Person Specification:
• Education: B.Sc. in Engineering.
• 8 - 12 years oil and gas field experience in ESP operations.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication sills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a diversified work environment.
