1. SLICKLINE SPECIALIST - OFFSHORE / LAND


We are the leader in well construction and production, our innovative physical and digital solutions improve efficiency, production and maximize reservoir value. Our team is the repair hub for all, global Wireline technologies. We provide a high level of service to ensure the maintenance, repair and refurbishment of our innovative equipment.

As a Slickline Field Specialist, you will be responsible for: 

Under broad direction, determines and develops resolution to an assortment of problems encountered at the wellsite of moderately complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.

• Works directly with Customer Representative and drill crew on location to coordinate operations with the rig and or production facility.

• Provides record of all assemblies as run to the Customer Representative at the wellsite.

• Advises Customer Representative in the logging and completions operations, interpreting logging data, troubleshooting, and other wellsite analysis and decision-making processes.

• Oversees wellsite operations, crew and equipment and at the shop to provide specific logging and completions services.

• Responsible for the maintenance of equipment and facility.

• Maintains records and communications as required by the District Service Delivery Manager/Coordinator.

• Assists with the training of assigned personnel incompletions operations and maintenance.

• Promotes and maintains good customer relations.

• Performs all required responsibilities safely and as described in Managing Base Operations, Managing Well Operations, and Managing Equipment and Logistics manuals. Performs other related duties as required.

• Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Two (2) year Technical Associates Degree required OR 4 years related experience with in-depth knowledge of Wireline Completions operations, products and services preferred.

• Wireline experience is required

• Slickline experience is required

• Must be able to relocate to Broussard LA

2. GENERAL WIRELINE FIELD OPERATOR


Our Oilfield Services business provides intelligent, connected technologies to monitor and control our energy extraction assets. Our Wireline Services team arrange technical expertise to meet our client expectation. We provide customers with the peace of mind needed to reliably and efficiently improve their operations.


Partner with the best:

As a General Wireline Operator, you will be able to learn and develop your knowledge and gain valuable technical insight. You will be guided by an experienced team who will mentor you to understand wellsite problems and how to develop resolutions.

As a General Wireline Field Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering an array wireline services in an offshore environment, under the supervision of a Wireline Engineer and Wireline Crew Chief.

• Working directly with client's wellsite supervisor to deliver wireline objectives in a safe and efficient manner.

• Being responsible for the safe operation of Wireline Surface pressure control equipment and managing offshore inventory.

• Being competent to operate a wireline hoist unit and supporting safe deployment of ballistic operations.

• Performing tool maintenance and job site supervision of wireline operators and maintaining a high level of safety awareness.

• Maintaining records and communications as required by the Supervising Engineer.


To be successful in this role you will:

• Have high School diploma or equivalent.

• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in wireline services

• Be a team player and display good communication skills with ability to build trusting relationships with customers.

• Have ability to organize, assess, prioritize tasks, milestones and deliverables.

3. WIRELINE FIELD OPERATOR

Our team partners cross-functionally with inland or offshore rigs, adding value to oil well extractions and providing support to field operations.

As a Senior Wireline Field Operator, you will be able to learn and develop your knowledge and gain valuable technical insight. You will be guided by an experienced team who will mentor you to understand wellsite problems and how to develop resolutions. You'll be able to gain hands-on experience with some incredible technology.
 

As a Wireline Field Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Being a self-starter with a keen desire to learn operator duties in a variety of environments and locations

• Ensuring that logging units are operated and driven safely to ensure availability on-site at scheduled times

• Maintaining well site records and communications to ensure compliance and regulations are followed

• Participating in quality improvement efforts to ensure the service delivery and safety of ballistic operations

• Following internal HSE policies for equipment and logistics to ensure safety and compliance

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent educational level

• Be willing to gain industry experience and undergo product line training

• Show a basic knowledge of the oil and gas or energy industry

• Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude and a keen desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills

• Be a team player and display good communication skills

• Be happy to travel to national and international locations to work with customers on site

4. FIELD SPECIALIST ARTIFICIAL LIFT


Our Oilfield Services business provides intelligent, connected technologies to monitor and control our energy extraction assets. Our team provide technical expertise to meet our client expectation in electrical submersible pumps with Artificial Lift requirement. We provide customers with the peace of mind needed to reliably and efficiently improve their operations.


Work onsite with customers:

As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Performing installation/pulling of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and associated equipment in onshore oil and water wells

• Working unsupervised, monitoring, trouble shooting and testing downhole ESP equipment in order to maximize well productivity and ESP run life

• Leading the field service team with confidence ensuring positive customer outcomes

• Performing well in a team environment

• Handling special projects as assigned

• Conducting business activities in accordance with HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.


To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of technical experience in running Electrical Submersible Pump or Artificial Lift tools or equipment

• Have experience with ESP down hole installation and pullout, as well as trouble shooting surface equipment

• Have a Bachelors Degree or higher

• Have analytical skills to route ESP problems during troubleshooting

• Have valid offshore experience

• Have strong customer focus, communication, interpersonal, and team working skills

• Have a Basra residency (mandatory)

5. FIELD SPECIALIST CEMENTING

Our Pressure Pumping Product Line is a vital player in the well construction delivery and we aim to exceed client’s expectations in our Baker Hughes operations.

Pressure Pumping, a partner of well construction, designing new types of slurries to be greener and more competitive. Working to client demands with focus on service delivery. New foam package introduced at global level to reduce footprint at the rig site.


As a Field Specialist - Cementing, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining cementing unit, ready for pressure testing and cementing all time

• Executing cementing job and pressure testing

• Planning and prepare for casing cementing, plug back cementing and any miscellaneous pumping activities

• Assisting in performing checks and loading of necessary product and equipment required for the operations

• Scheduling cementing operations; including operations and maintenance of equipment

• Working with crew on location to prepare equipment and products for any pumping operation assigned to us

• Doing all cementing job calculations required


To be successful in this role you will:

• Have an Engineering degree or technical diploma with relevant equivalent experience

• Have 7+ years of experience in execution of cementing jobs, pumping and pressure testing offshore and on shore

• Be a team player and display excellent communication skills in English

• Have current or past experiences working in Oil & Gas industry

• Have a knowledge on how to operate safely and flawlessly two brands of cement units (Baker’s and/or competitors’ ones)
