1. Lead Artificial Lift Engineer
Job Purpose:
• Responsible for chemical management system including the support to the field operations on logistic and chemical delivery on time, monitoring offshore/onshore production chemical programs, preparation of technical scope of work document, and selection of proper chemicals.
• Set up the plan and strategy for field chemical trials, follow up on trials execution and analyze the results, monitor chemical performance and issuance of relevant reports / recommendations in coordination with Field Production.
• Provide support to field Operations for troubleshooting, monitor and control process performance with respect to equipment operating parameters, product specifications and chemical treatment effectiveness
• Analyze Field Operations data, provide technical expertise to meet production targets and optimize process performance.
• Provide operations related input and support upon request to Engineering, process safety management and environmental compliance, and participate in all process safety related sessions and studies.
• Support Field Operations in providing options for improvement / optimization of processes, root cause analysis, and mitigation of process upset to achieve production targets.
Job Responsibilities:
• To manage, interpret, technically analyze and integrate parameters associated with Artificially Lifted wells
• Work closely with wells, production & reservoir engineering teams to monitor and validate Well Production surveillance and artificial lift data.
• Lead production optimization solutions for existing producing wells and future development areas.
• Develop innovative and effective gas lift, jet pump, ESP wells designs tailored to unconventional reservoir characteristics. Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize artificial lift systems for various well conditions.
• Oversee the implementation and day-to-day operation of jet pump, ESP wells and gas lift systems. Monitor system performance, analyze data, and make real-time adjustments to ensure optimal production rates
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to artificial lift systems, utilizing in-depth knowledge and experience. Provide rapid response to emergencies that impact lift operations.
• Analyze production data, well performance trends, and equipment performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased efficiency. Implement data-driven solutions to enhance lift system performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including reservoir engineers, production engineers, and field technicians, to align lift system strategies with reservoir and production goals.
• Translate field and well artificial lift requirements into project designs, by collaborating with the Petroleum/Reservoir Engineers.
• Leads continual improvement and implementation of Artificial Lift Technical Working Systems and Standard Operating Systems
• Flag the events impacting the production such as but not limited to shortage of gas lift supply, inefficiency of gas lift system, etc.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Petroleum or Process Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in reservoir, process and operation engineering, including artificial lifting systems, and mainly offshore process & production engineering. Exposure to project management, planning, control & schedules.
Certifications:
Certificate : Master’s Degree is a plus
2. Senior Petroleum Engineer
Job Purpose:
• Accountable for the comprehensive analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of complex systems within the Petroleum Engineering domain.
• Optimize operational efficiency, enhance productivity, and drive innovation in the exploration, extraction, and production of Petroleum resources.
• Streamline organizational processes and support informed decision-making across various functions.
Job Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain the Avocet database, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Implement data quality control measures, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with Field Operations to enhance database efficiency, streamline reporting processes, and manage the Avocet production system PDMS & OFM.
• Monitor and evaluate Well and Production System performance based on comparing predicted versus actual production rates.
• Ensure Field data and Technical studies include results of well tests, production performance, and production logging surveys, repeat formation tests and PVT fluid analysis.
• Perform Data analysis to monitor increasing inflow performance, lowering water cuts or GORs, increasing tubing or flow line capacity, installing artificial lift or adjusting other system parameters.
• Evaluate candidate wells for stimulation, perforation or artificial lift, and recommend the optimal course of action based on technical, operational and economic considerations.
• Model and track Field Production performance using production data management software; OFM, AVOCET, Ecrin and/or Prosper & GAP.
• Define Production bottlenecks and solutions with input from Field digital monitoring systems.
• Utilize advanced statistical and analytical methods to analyze data and provide insights and recommendations on various operational topics.
• Collaborate with other Departments within the organization to understand their analytical needs.
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ Experience in Production/Petroleum and Reservoir Engineering particularly in an offshore environment (expertise in several areas and good understanding of others: drilling, project management, reservoir engineering, completion engineering).
3. Senior Drilling Engineer
Job Purpose:
• Provide Engineering support for Drilling, Completion and Workover activities related to well design, contracting, materials and services and well operations.
• Ensure that well Engineering and Operations are carried out in accordance with company policies, industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
• Consider well design options based on a review of drilling objectives and recommendations proposed by operations geology or reservoir development teams.
• Provide technical guidance and support in developing a well plan and generating a well design that incorporates the casing, cementing and directional drilling parameters. Solicit and evaluate input from relevant service company providers.
• Evaluate the feasibility of and the risks involved in achieving well objectives.
• Generate cost estimates for the proposed well design, and develop an equipment list and material requirements.
• Review drilling rig and other equipment specifications to ensure adequacy for the proposed well design.
• Prepare a drilling program to meet well objectives.
• Ensure that all well planning and design activities are conducted using workflows that comply with company well engineering and HSE standards, industry best practices and statutory requirements.
• Provide technical input for the preparation and evaluation of tenders.
• Implement and track the company’s AFE review process for the well plan and well design.
• Review existing and new technologies for incorporation into the well design.
• Prepare detailed drilling and operating procedures for each succeeding hole interval, taking into account local geology, potential hole problems and drilling hazards.
• Identify, assess and control potential and actual drilling hazards such as abnormal pressures, complex geology or mud loss zones.
• Incorporate safe work practices into the drilling program, specifying as part of the program the use of any equipment provided for health and safety purposes.
• Study bit, bottom hole assembly and mud system performance and recommend ways to optimize the drilling process.
• Evaluate geological and engineering data to determine whether operations are on track with well plan. Recommend implementation of contingency options as needed.
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in drilling, completion and workover operations and engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of offshore experience. Experience should include work in directional and highly deviated drilling (including mudline tiebacks) as well as HPHT environments. Demonstrated experience working in remote areas and dealing with logistics challenges.
4. Night Drilling Supervisor
Job Purpose:
• Implement approved Drilling programs through wellsite management of Drilling rig operations during night time tours.
• Ensure that operations are carried out in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner, in accordance with company policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Job Responsibilities:
• Review the approved Drilling Program for completeness and clarity, and ensure that it is properly understood by all concerned parties.
• Evaluate drilling parameters, well trajectory information and wellsite geological data to determine whether operations are on track with well plan.
• Recommend operational modifications as needed to optimize Drilling performance.
• Study bit, bottom hole assembly, mud system and hydraulics performance and recommend areas for improvement.
• Make all operational decisions during the night shift, except on critical or abnormal situations, such as well control incidents, where consultation with senior staff is in order.
• Oversee well control activities, including installation and testing of blowout prevention equipment, maintaining prerecorded well data, generation of mud weight schedules and weighting material requirements, conducting pit drills and implementation of shut-in and well killing procedures.
• Monitor well expenditures and contractor and service company performance.
• Assist in controlling well costs.
• Monitor and report on the performance of contractors and service companies.
• HSE awareness and compliance: Maintain safe and environmentally friendly wellsite operations in accordance with company policy and statutory requirements.
• Promote wellsite awareness of company HSE policies and directives.
• Ensure that each company employee, contractor or visitor at the wellsite has received a formal site orientation and safety induction in accordance with company HSE policy.
• Participate in toolbox safety meetings on a regular basis and prior to operations that require specialized safety instruction.
• Ensure that company employees, contractor employees and visitors to the wellsite possess the certifications and/or training required for their respective job roles.
Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certificates: IWCF Well Control Certification (Supervisor, surface stack)
• 12 years of experience in Offshore rig operations including 5 years in Drilling super visionary role. Demonstrated experience working in remote areas and dealing with logistics challenges.
